You seem to know what you are doing so fingersx we will both get things sorted.
After what we both are going through, I think we need a good holiday in our own apartments in the sun, good food and a long cool drink. ops nearly sent you all a post card then. ha. Just emailed Stefan just waiting for his reply. A friend of mine has just brought in Tiba 2, through GDI. So at least I will beable to stay in her apartment that should be ready in 2012. She was going to buy in Makadi, but could not afford it, so she brought in Tiba 2 instead. And she got a good price. If I had got my money back. I would have brought in there also. But just a studio. I could stay there while I get the furniture sorted. My solicitor said he could take me round the shops to sort it all out and have it put in with in 3/4 days. So that should be ok as I was going to try and spend about 3/4 weeks out there when its finished. I cant wait to see what the ceilings are like, its a pity they didnt have coloured glass panaling in though. But as long as its my apartment and I go out there when every I want then I,ll be happy.

It's all complicated ! and anyone reading this and contemplating buying out there : DO NOT BUY THROUGH GREENLIFE or any other name they come under !!!! There is a forum ( Bulgariski Evridika Hills ) but trying to get EVERYONE together is difficult ! You know what it's like !!! There are some now who have taken a solicitor to go to court and obviously want as many of owners as possible ! Thing is half of the stuff they are still needing to do before anything happens with solicitors papers - I have already done and have my own solicitor anyway and would have to change POA etc - all money - so obviously don't want to pay for it again ! I have sent a couple of VERY strong ( to say the least ) e-mails out and actually got a reply immediately ! asking for my skype address so we could talk ! But since then ( 2 weeks now ) nothing ! Still somehow it will get sorted - trust me ! as I have reached my limit of patience now ! Thinking of looking into the EU legal system now - if can't sort it otherwise ! - And GOOD POINT about Makadi and building work - but I am sure they must have thought about that and probably build to some form of structured plan ?!!! I can't see people would want to wait for 5 years can you ???!! lol x Yes ask Stefan - but I am sure we'll all be sitting on our balconies in Makadi in 2012 sipping wine :dancing: ha ha can't wait Maggie !!!! And by the way - think I might give that hair cut a miss then if that's ok lol x

We bought an apartment in Goverdartsi, Bulgaria. You got me a bit worried:s: Just awaiting the contract. Hopefully all will be ok. My partner is in Hurghada and went to Makadi Bay on Monday. Wow makes me so excite. :wavey:

Not sure where that is ???!!! - I know Astra Bridge / Greenlife and whatever other name they come under also started building on the coast ! and management company ORCO has moved out there too !!! You'll know if you have the same company when you start dealing with a woman by the name of Dezi Todorova !!!!! - Hopefully though your buy is going to be perfectly fine !!! Check out the forum on Evridika Hills though ( which shows you the problems owners have got !!! ) on Bulgariski (which is quite informative about other places / issues as well ) !!! - Try not to worry too much though - but check everything out VERY carefully before signing anything !!! Personally I wouldn't buy in Bulgaria again for lots of other reasons I've come across over there and as well as the stress I am having and have had since the build began !
Makadi in comparison ( so far ) is a completly different ( in a good way ) and exciting experience and I am sure we will be very happy with the end result and with management ( if El Gouna is anything to go by ) x Take care and Good Luck until soon may be x :wavey:

Yes I looked at Tiba 2 as well , looked very nice too ( have been looking for about 7 months now ) and although I loved the idea of Makadi straight away - I initially didn't want to go for an off plan again ! But in the end - and after falling in love with El Gouna - and it's low density buildings AND the domed and vaulted ceilings and finding out that the developer is Orascum - I just HAD to go with Makadi Bay !!! -
Maggie your solicitor sounds very good if he is going to take you around the shops as well !!! - Think I will arrange 2 weeks AL for when my apartment will be ready so I can sort everything out - probably will be bumping into everyone carrying cushions and lampshades etc ha ha ..... Will be good .... and can't wait !!!!!

Our development company are Hanroc. They seem genuine enough but I will check out the forum as you suggest. We still have to furnish yet, but we wanted to get Makadi underway first. Our apartments are Forest View. They are very near Borovets and the area looks delightful, and I hope to see the apartment very soon. The purchase went fairly smoothly, but the Euro hit the floor, ha ha, so cost us a lot more than we had anticipated. Although the egp tends to fluctuate quite a bit it isnt as dramatic as the Euro:s: I too am hoping to go to Makadi in January work permitting. I find the whole property business fascinating and feel I am achieving something. Hopefully my children will love the places too. x :wavey:

yes Hussien, Mr Banna is a very nice man and so is the other solicitor Tamare They are going to do the Egyptian side of our legal battle. And with their help and working with an Egyptian landowner of another Regency develoment the investers have now secured their aprts. But the group I was in didnt want to go down that route, but to sue the English solicitor instead. Then our group split up because some of them was causeing problems and it wasnt working out. It was stupid really when you think we have all this money at stake.

I really dont know when your apart will be done. But Stefan told me, my last payment will be in May 2012. But because I didnt get the go ahead till June from my solicitor it might be June 2012 when I pay it, so hopefully it will be one of those months. Just had the bill from my solicitor and i,m happy with what hes chargeing me. Its alot cheaper then I thought it would be. And I know I can trust him. Stefans not got back to me yet, but not to worry. Hope you get some sleep today before your 12 hour shift. What do you do at work? I,m taking my oldest grandaughter out for the day. Then off to visit a mate of mine with another mate for a good old chin wag:wavey:

If yours will take much longer to build than mine - You can always rent one of my bedrooms out and stay at mine !!!! ha ha lol

Hi, Yes I work at a collage in the morning and a school at night I,m a hygiene consultant. But to the layman a cleaner. I was a fork lift driver for over 15 years, and was in charge of a secure unite. I worked at the same place Co-oP for 27 years before I jumped off my truck, fell, and broke and fractured my arm. How stupid was that. Thought to my self i,m getting too old for this so I left. But got fed up of being at home all day, plus it costs me a fortune at xmas with all my grandkids, (all 11 of them.) So looked for another job landed up getting 2 and they say theres no work about !! Just had an email from Stefan he says we will be able to stay in our aprts. But thanks for the offer :wavey:

Well glad you have not heard of them must be a good sign. Our developers won International Property Developers Award for 2009. We bought through an Estate Agent so hopefully we did the right thing. Sorry yours went awry. Am patiently waiting for my business partner to return from Hurghada with hopefully plenty pictures of Makadi. x We gave bought a type 4 on quadrant 3.
