Is the second photo definitely type 3? The building layout and window position does not look the same.

Great to see the new pictures, it is coming on well. I was wondering about type 3 also as it seems to be end corner balconys in the pictures and I was wondering about the units in the midde of type 3 with the balcony area facing head on.

Looks good though and it will be a very nice development for us all to own in, impressed so far.

Hi all ,
Just to pass on a huge thanks to ALLA and all his staff at Classic out in Hurghada, I have just returned from a visit to the site , staff are so helpful and arranged a visit twice to look at the project , second time we filled a mini bus and 4 more apartments where sold . I have some pictures of the build and in a week I could see changes with the buildings . If anyone would like to see please ask or email on [email protected]. I have never been so impressed with a build and how helpful staff at Classic are and can't until I return in June to see progress.

Its great to hear you had a productive time out there. I bought from Classica too and thought their customer service was absolutely great. They are always very responsive to my email queries and Alaa has been fantastic at updating this forum with the latest photos. Thank you Alaa.

On another note could you please share with us your experience of the site. How was it? Can you see the layout taking shape? Do you think the buildings will all be the same colour? Have they started construction of the central downtown area with the swimming pools etc ?

Hello future neighbours and friends : - )

I'm in the process of purchasing a Type 7 Unit in Q3 ... still two years before completion, but rather excited! I have just a couple of questions for you experts out there.

I'm purchasing via A World Overseas in the UK and using Tarek Fathalla in Hurghada as the lawyer with power of attorney. Would you folks recommend getting the contracts/documentation double-checked by an Egyptian lawyer (property specialist) here in the UK ... or am I being too paranoid?! It's only my second overseas purchase and I just want to ensure that I'm doing everything right.

Secondly, do you have any recommendations re currency transfers from the UK to Egypt? I've Googled the topic and found a number of companies (though fewer offering EGP),but wondered if it's safer/more economical to open a bank account with CIB in Egypt?

Any advice most welcome.

We Have HSBC Bank In Egypt and I guess you have it as well in UK why don't you use HSBC?

For Lawyer I guess with Orascom you wil not face a problem but it will not hurt to double check

hi anni f, new to this game myself. i too about to pay reservation fee and have been recomended tarek fathalla as my lawyer thats as much as i know, am buying through gdi overseas has any body dealt with this company?also been recomended rational fx for currency transfer, any help would be appreciated

I dealt with classica who were every good and efficient. They respond very quickly and were able to reserve the apartment for me on the same day.

In terms of payments I know some people have used currency transfer companies and others use banks. I guess it depends on what suits you best.
