This is going to sound like a strange question but has come anyone across a website or article that states what the current number of expats are living in Hurghada and any projected figures?

Many thanks

Lyndsay

Hi Alison, I used to have a life before I bought this apartment, now I'm on all the holiday channels, trawling the net and on this forum looking for all kinds of info. I can't wait for it to be built, even when I have a conversation with my family it always returns to the subject of DP2 or hurghada. Ha Ha
Any word about your entry date yet?

Hi Sue - join the club LOL. Hubby gets fed up with that little box always being on my lap!!

The developer has said within 60 days so it could be April / May. With any luck we could be out in June fingers crossed.

Thanks Eddie,

I picked up my copy a few days ago - we don't get them at the same time as you do in the UK. I still haven't found time to read it though - will do now :)

Just finished this month's A Place In The Sun. Noticed that next months issue - on sale the 10th of April - has a feature about finding a young family a holiday home in Hurghada. Should be a good one. I'll put a reminder on the calendar.

Tariffs cuts and price caps

The President has issued a new decree amending custom duties on many items including baby milk, rice, some diary products. Custom duties on steel, cement and some glass products are also now exempt see Daily News Egypt - Full Article
Prices on home appliances have also been cut.
