lol at Wayne, thanks..... KC67, no i may buy a studio in Hurghada, not sure yet. I need to make sure everything is affordable. I would be reluctant to buy in Sharm not when you can buy freehold in other places.

Been a nice day, took day off so that I wouldn't be discussing private stuff at work. Was tempted to drink my cheap bottle of lambrusco and my pizza outside but the temperature in Birmingham right now isnt quite warm enough this evening.

You see I know how to live it up...lol, may be in 5 years time it will be vintage bollanger...lol,

Maybe in 5 years time it will be a bottle of champagne lounging in your apartment in Marsa Alam!! - Beats the winter streets of Birmingham? :)

Hi all,

I've not posted on this thread before but reading it helped me decide to buy at Marsa Alam Beach Resort, which I'm happy to say i've now done - so thanks to all those who posted encouraging things!
We changed our minds about 100 times on what we wanted to buy - started off with 2-bed middle apartment - then when the plans came out we decided we wanted a good sea view so we decided to go for one of the executive 2-bed suites and risk not getting the rental guarantee - when the call came none of the 2-bed suites were available in the location we wanted (near the front) so went for our plan B which was 1-bed junior suite right at the front - not the presidential but one directly behind - had the confirmation through now so thought it was safe to post without cursing it! We're chuffed to bits - it was really the right choice for us - no kids so dont really need 2-beds and if the developers are right - the rental pool should be quite lucrative. We also get a nice garden which is a great bonus!! Good luck to all those still waiting - I think whatever you choose - you cant really go wrong on such a good development.

It was the information on this forum that made us go for Egypt and then for Regency Beach. The members are extremely helpful and the information is excellent - so I know what you mean. Well done and congratulations on your purchase. Hope you stay with us and keep everyone informed on your progress :)

Hi Ricardothered and welcome to the forum. It sounds as though you got an excellent suite with fantastic sea view - congratulations! As you say, you can't really go wrong whichever way you choose on this development.

Nope not yet. I have chased them cause we are due away at the end of April for three weeks so I advised them that I would need time to check contracts and send money before that - they said they will "bear our holiday in mind" so I have asked for clarfication as to what this means!!

I haven't heard anything either yet. Possibly early next week?
Lou you must be worried if you are going away on holiday. I'm sure we will get the contracts long before the end of April. They did say that we would get contracts half way through April and should pay by end of April.
