My father owns a piece of land on the island of Ibiza in Spain. It is part forest, part plain land (perhaps referred to as farm land?). It has not been developed in any way; we have not drilled for water, etc. We would like to keep the land in the family and do not want to sell, however, we need to start making some money off of the property. We would like to know more about leasing the land out...maybe to a commercial or residential developer. My question is, where do I start? How can I find out more about our options? I would also like to mention that we don't have a lot of money to put up front to turn our land into something profitable.
We area also open to other suggestions, except for selling the land, that is. I would appreciate any suggestions...thank you!
