It is fair to say that UK base rates are near their historic low, and many believe they could go lower before rising, therefore mortgages are relatively cheap. So, when did you last remortgage your property or properties?

I should generally start looking for a remortgage deal around three months before the current one ends.

It is interesting that you mention the subject of remortgaging. I have read a number of reports of late which highlight the relative stability of the mortgage finance market. However, I think a lot of this funding is simply remortgaging to take account of near historic low base rates/mortgage rates.
