I think the AI tools dedicated to interior design and architecture are a bit too limiting compared to generalist AI rendering tools. They're trained only on generic property photos and typically lack the creativity or UI features you need to come up with something unique for your space.

Personally I like the free plan on Alpaca AI Rendering for communicating renovation ideas. It offers more control as a designer when you need it, but you can also amp up the model creativity for something more surprising if you prefer.

It's really good for enhancing sketches of proposed changes and throwing together a few materials in a scene. It doesn't usually reproduce the materials exactly, but it shows what the overall vibe might be without going through the effort of modeling and traditional rendering.
