İnteresting article, by Berk Çektir a licensed attorney at law,
As you may recall, the Constitutional Court recently announced that it has revoked the law that allows sales of property to companies established by foreign firms. Real estate sales to foreign interests were last banned by the Constitutional Court, following a lawsuit by the Republican People's Party (CHP). This latest decision to revoke the ban has moved some foreign property investors to set up companies in Turkey to enable them to buy in restricted areas of the country. I have previouly written about possible complications in trying to circumvent this law.
