Residential property prices in the UK saw an unexpected rise last month but analysts believe it is a blip with the overall trend still falling. The latest figures from the Halifax show that average property prices increased by 1.8% to £164,919 in October. But this follows a record breaking monthly fall of 3.7% in September. [...]

That's definitely a good sign, but as you said, the situation might not be that good actually. In another news article I read that analysts are expecting house prices to fall and some of the regions such as Wales and North East are going to experience a tough time.

I need to sell my house quickly as I am unable to pay the arrears; I was looking for some instant solutions. Any advice?
