Hello,
I have a few questions regarding a potential move to Dubai/UAE.
I've been reading through this forum and I've gotten a sense of the sort of costs required to live a decent life.
What I'd like to know is what sort of salary should a out-of-school grad expect. I'm currently studying neuroscience and business (as a minor) in Canada. I have lots of leadership experience (including president of the science society in my university.)
I'm currently at a fork in the road with three options, the three being:
A) Finishing my degree then staying in school to upgrade my minor in business to a major. This would likely take 2 years.
or
B) Go out into the "real world" and get experience while in Canada for two years then move to Dubai/UAE.
or
C) Look for jobs in the Dubai/UAE from the get go.
What do you, recruiters especially, think would be the best route of action? I simply don't know what business in UAE favour, school or experience? Do they care about a student's GPA at all? I'm looking for human resources or marketing positions.
What's the likelihood for a new grad to receive total compensation of 30-40k?
Cheers, and thanks for your help!
