Student accommodation / Midlands?

Hi all,

Been offered some units, pre launch, below market value yielding around 7% (He is sending me more in depth info by the weekend).

Problem is, I am from Glasgow and do not know the area well.

It is via a friend from school whom I have remained in touch with, and I have recently inherited some cash.

Does anyone know the area well?

Beware anyone offering anything 'below market value'. There is no such thing. A commodity, be it property or anything else, sells for precisely what anyone is prepared to pay for it at the moment in time. So, everything sells for it's actual market value. O.K. there may be instances where someone is desperate to do a deal now, this instant, because they need the money, so will take less than they might have got by being patient, but that applies to individual deals, not developments.
