The Investment Association this week issued some very interesting figures which show that during February there was a £119 million net retail outflow from UK property funds. This would seem to be another trick of the media, the strategy of focusing upon very short-term timescales to give the impression everybody is leaving the UK property market. If we look at the wider picture we will see the massive increase in real estate investment in recent times which dwarfs recent withdrawals.
