There is no doubt that increased transaction fees and tighter regulations are starting to have a significant impact on the Dubai property market. Quite how influential these two factors will be in the medium to long term remains to be seen but many believe that there is a need for short-term pain, i.e. the introduction of new regulations, which should lead to medium to long-term gain.
