Good time to invest in Singapore properties, safe haven for your funds, especially in land scarced Singapore, where properties and land are prized assets, the value and returns are boundless. With the Integrated resorts, the upcoming MRT lines, new office towers sprouting up, we can expect to see more local and foreign demands for housing. Foreigners can go for Condominium developments as there is no restriction on foreign ownership. <snip>For landed properties, foreigners need to have track record of contributions to the country and be a permanent resident, approvals need to be obtained and property needs to be owner-occupied for at least 3 years before it can be resold.

Yes and basically with leveraging you don't really have to cough up a huge sum at all. Maybe $100,000 to 200,000 for deposit, the balance by bank loan and service the loan with the rental income. When the price appreciates, you can make a capital gain. From what I observe, condominium near business parks, commercial buildings always get tenants easily.
