Any ideas what kind of yield you can get in Turkey? What is the state of the residential rental market.

Yields around 6 - 6.5% in major cities such as Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara.
Slightly higher in resort areas but more difficult to achieve longer term tenancies.

Major cities generally bring higher rent as you can rent out with 12 month contract, and you do not pay any estate agency commission or maintenance charge.
With holiday resorts, you can generate very high rent if you rent out per week, however it is not guaranteed and I heard that the agency commissions are very high for weekly rentals plus you need to pay for cleaning and maintenance charges.

You really need to be more specific as to the location in Turkey, because as in any country there can be wide regional variations.
