This indeed is some positive news for Abu Dhabi real estate sector. The government of Abu Dhabi is making a lot of efforts in attempts to set the market back on track and they've definitely started paying off. Honestly though, Abu Dhabi real estate is fast becoming rather polarised with rents spiking in primary locations where the prices keep falling secondary locations. The situation was no different in Dubai some eighteen months ago but given the fact that Dubai turned out just fine, one can hope for the same for Abu Dhabi as well.
