...Hi all, can anyone please tell me how expensive things like beds and electrical appliances, hairdryer etc are in Egypt?

Hi

If you are prepared to have aching feet you can shop around and find things not too badly priced, the only thing is they are not all in one shop,hence the aching feet.,

We have just furnished our 3 bed apartment with (all prices approx) corner suite (£550),dining table (£250),6ft bed £250) 5ft bed, 2 x (£200) single beds (£150),lcd 32"tv (450),tv stand (£95 ,coffee tablem(£95),large rug (£75)vac, iron,other small items,internet,satelite box, altogether less than £5000
There is a lot of furniture shops in downtown and definately worth looking at.

Thank you very much for the above, thats a very useful list.

I will definitely look you guys up when I get there, well that should be 'if' as at the moment, its one problem after the other :-(
