Pls advise. Agent received the rent in cash and not sending to me

My agent who was introduced by someone has received the rent in cash from tenant but not sending it to me giving so many excuses. It has been more than two months since he got the rent. first he was busy then sick and now no reply at all. Does not answer the phone call and no reply by e-mail. Can anyone please advise who should I contact in the regard. RERA or any other org. ?

Sorry to hear about this. Do you know what his RERA number is, try and find this out and then contact RERA. I have always found it a nightmare when emailing or phoning these organizations. If you are not to far from dubai it might be worth a trip to try and sort it out. If you are in Dubai and tell him you are going to report him to the police you might get a different outcome.
