A lot of expats buy land/villas here using a company. You might like to know that the government has introduced a new scheme regarding the taxes. This means that any company, regardless of its turnover, has to pay a minimum fixed amount of yearly income tax. It's not much, the minimum band being about 500 Euro (assuming the company has no turnover),but it would be wise to make sure it's paid to avoid legal problem, fines, and other annoyances.
