Moving to near Oloron, Pyrenees Aquitane

Welcome all,

My partner and I are hoping to move to the Oloron/Pau area shortly and we will have his elderly mother with us. We would be grateful to hear of any English speaking clubs, organizations, church groups that would help us settle in. We are working hard at our French but it remains poor so any help in that regard would be appreciated.

thank you very much for replying - I was very grateful for the advice people gave us when we first arrived in the Languedoc area and look forward to getting information now on the Aquitane area! Forgive me for being a bit slow, but could you explain where I will find the French forum?

Hi Avery, We live in the centre of Oloron and I will be pleased to help in any way I can. My wife attends the local (free) French classes on Mondays and Fridays.
