Moving to Gladstone

Hi Everyone,

We are a family of 4 moving to Gladstone queens land in about a months time. I?m jon a bricklayer threes my partner Sarah and my 2 children Amy & Jed just waiting for house to go through then we are off any advice or help would great

Hi julio,

Gladstone is a really nice place. I live in Rockhampton but Gladstone is great. It is a small clean town with a lot going for it. The shopping is ok but will be very different to the Uk.Rocky is about 50 mins away the shopping is bigger but I think it's rubbish. However they are building new shopping centers to be ready in 18months time. It is a really good place to bring up children. You should do well being a bricklayer they are building houses like mad at the moment.Tannum sands is the nearest beach and Boyne Island both are really good places you need to watch for the sand flies though. If there?s anything you want to knolet me know.
