Moving to France - can I take life insurance policy with me?

Hey all,

I hold a life insurance policy here in the Uk and I'm moving to France DEC 2006. Can I move the policy to a French account / agent? Should I bother to move it? I will be maintaining assets (but not property) in the UK.

Hi Avery,

I'm don?t know much about life insurance but have you considered using a specialist foreign exchange company for your euro transfers to fund the property? They give much better exchange rates than the bank and can offer services such a regular payments, market watch and forwards.
