Mortgage for Morocco - NOT new development property

Can anyone tell me if there are mortgage companies in the UK that will give you a mortgage for old properties.
The ones I have come across so far all seem to tie in to off-plan developments.

What are my other alternatives?

How difficult is it getting a mortgage in Morocco & opening a bank account there?

Would be keen to here from someone that knows their stuff. By this i mean someone that is aware of the difference between titre & milkia purchases. Risks involved & if this has an impact on mortgages offered?
