Yes, it is real. Oldest part of it is from the year 1337. The big building with 11000 square meters space is new inside and old outside. The castle has around 4000 sqft. On TV they say, it is for sale for around 4,3 Mio. Euros.

I am not the owner. The Bank "Sparkasse Essen" is selling it for 4,3 Mio €. I guess the owner needs some fresh money....
