Lending on Studio Flats

After some recent research that I was compiling for a developer I was amazed just how adverse the lenders are to Studio apartments now, apparantly after talking to some brokers there are only 2 lenders willing to look at Studios.

Personally I've always thought that studio apartments were too limiting but that shows how much has changed since I left the UK (in 2007).
