It looks as though again the Edinburgh property market is outperforming the rest of Scotland by a significant margin. Is Edinburgh the only true international Scottish property market?

At this moment in time, also remembering that the price of oil has collapsed and Aberdeen is not as lucrative as it used to be, Edinburgh does seem to be the only truly international property market in Scotland. Whether this will change if/when Scotland goes independent is another question.

There is a report today suggesting that support for independence is now 55/45 when you remove the "don't knows". Interesting times for Scotland!

The devil is in the detail with regard to these political polls. In the same poll, not mentioned in the wider press, by far and away the vast majority of people said that independence was not their main aim at the moment.
