Hi @all!
I am not only new to this forum, but also new to the whole investing business! Currently my main fields of interest are sustainable forestry investments, such as is also advertised on this page! Being a new member, I cant give any additional links!
Basically my question is if it is a sound idea to invest in either carbon offsets, tropical hardwood in asia, agriculture in Australia etc.
Sure it would be nice to invest in higher priced sectors, but for now I'm looking at around 10'000 - 15'000 euros. What I have gathered so far from the hardwood investments is that the returns are supposed to be great, but spread over 20-30 years! The agricultural investments are supposed to return a little faster!
Any advice? Tips? etc?
