There is no doubt that despite much talk by politicians there is still a significant UK housing crisis which will continue for many years to come. Chronic underinvestment in newbuilds has created a situation which could take more than 10 years to rectify. We hear all of these numbers about potential new builds financed by the government but where are they?
As a consequence, surely the buy to let market where private investors are using their own hard earned cash will be ever more vital to the UK housing market in the short to medium term?
