How expensive are apartments ???

Hello everyone,
I have been living in Sweden now for 5 years and was looking to move somewhere with warmer climates and surfing. After copious amounts of Internet surfing, Portugal seemed to be the best all-round bet.
My only fear is that I heard its hard to get an appartment and the salary in Portugal is pretty bad. Well does anyone know if its easy for a Vehicle Painter to get a job in Portugal ???? .Is it hard to get a job ?????. What are the salaries like on average ???? How expensive are apartments ???. and where is the best part to live in if you like the surf but don?t like the city too much and can still get a job.

Hi Jonathan,
Our house is near the best surfing coast. They have held the world Champs there before and there are always surfers in the water.

That is the coast line North of Lisbon from Ereacia( have not spelt that right) up to and probably beyond Peniche. Apartments are around 95,000 euros but I know if you go in land a bit, 20 mins drive they become a lot cheaper.

Work is less pay but cost of living is less as well.
