Whether we like it or not all areas of the UK economy are being impacted by the EU referendum. However, it was interesting to see a bounce in sterling after President Obama's comments. Has he put an end to the Brexit campaign? Will investment markets now sleep better at night?

Even though President Obama's intervention has gone down well with supporters of the European Union there is still some way to go yet. It is disappointing to see both sides using scare tactics to get their points across.

Since the comments by President Obama the currency markets have done their talking and they believe the campaign to leave Europe is all but finished. However, those who wish to remain in Europe must not get complacent and let their guard down.
