There seems to be a consensus that the north-east of England property market offers more prospects for long-term rental income as opposed to significant capital gain. However, there are areas in the region such as Newcastle which have thriving business sectors with an opportunity for more focus on capital gain.
Is there also potential for investors to look outside of the South of England and London and perhaps invest in property markets in the North of England where capital growth could perhaps become more prominent in years to come?
