Can anyone give me an answer to these 2 questions please;
1. If I'm remortgaging a property in France am I obliged by French law to have a French lender. I hope to get a euro mortgage from another country which has more competative (read Anglo saxon) approach.
2. Similar to the above. Am I legally required to use a French bank to make monthly mortgage payments? (Normally this requires a RIB but if the mortgage lender is not French then this does not apply).
