Florence or Venice

Welcome all,
Am seeking information regarding permanent residency in either Florence or Venice, also the possibility of full or part- time employment.
American passport, European mind-set, and citizen of the world.
Have been living outside the states for many years.
Which is the best place to invest?
Any information would be most appreciated.

Hey Mitchell,
Florence is a busy city compared to Venice which is more of a small town. If you don't mind doing everything at a snails pace, carrying everything you buy and spending twice the time getting out of Venice, go there. If you prefer convenience, like supermarkets, movie theaters, clothing shops and travel by vehicle . Florence is better. They are both excellent places to live. Visit both to see which feels better.
