Equestrian facility development?

Does anyone know if there are restrictions developing equine facilities in the UK (Surrey)?

If I bought an equestrian property could we extend the residential property STPP and get rid of the stables or are there issues with this as the land is seen as business/commercial?!

I would check with your local authorities as I think local land regs can vary from local authority to locval authority. Probably better to get a property expert involved to untangle the often complicated regulations.
