Easyjet to Fly into Tangier

From Feb 28 flying from Madrid to Tangier no news on their planned expansion of routes into Tangier but its clearly a start in the right direction having recently purchased GB

According to the Easyjet website, they are taking bookings from Tangier to Madrid from February 1st, 2008.

Yes it is sure. Drop me an email and i tell you. Easyjet is going to ly from London to Tagier. They are already reaching Tangier via Madrid and soon it will be a direct fly to Tangier. It has been told after March 2008. Easyjet its taking the Moroccan sky market.

When i was retuning back from Morocco to England I met somebody who work with an air company
and he told me that easy jet is going to fly from London to Tangier.
They started with flight from Spain to Tangier and afterter that London to Tangier in March 2008. The ews is not official but i am sure they will do it.

Thank you for the site. It does not reveal any further information. As you may know that Easyjet has bought over GB airways. The completion will take place in March 08.

GB airways flew to Tangiers and it is possible that this route will be carried on by easyjet.

I emailed easyjet in December and had a reply saying that they had no plans to fly uk to Tangier. The slot at tangier has been used for the madrid service. They have also launched the old GB airway routes on thier website and there is no uk to tangier.

This is the reply I received from Easy Jet this afternoon.

I am writing to inform you that the only operating route to Tangier is from Madrid. We are not planning to open the London Gatwick – Tangier route in the near future. We appreciate that this comes as a disappointment to you. Please, check our website (‘where we fly’ section) in order to view all our routes.
