We are developing a building that is currently 6 apartments into 9 apartments. We are extending the building up and sideways to create the 3 new apartments and refurb the current 6 apartments. My question is.....do we pay 20% or 5% or 0% VAT on the construction costs for the 6 refurbed apartments? I'm pretty sure we pay 0% for the 3 new apartments but what about the 6 apartments which we are just refurbing?
