Do we need investment in building apprenticeships?

For many years now the building industry has been claiming a lack of investment into apprenticeships has been a major problem. We know the UK is well behind the curve when it comes to newbuilds as well as council housing. Is it time for the government to go back to grassroots?

If we dont have the skilled labour to build these properties then what is the point of promising them?

As I mentioned in another post, governments going back to the 1980sm have promised but failed to deliver on this matter - they are now being found out!

Let us see what happens after the election - all parties have tried to out do each other on spending. Will the winner actually deliver?
