Looking at auctions catalogs, I see many stunning denkmal properties at very low prices. Anyone with experience with denkamls? Why are they so cheap?

Probably the location is bad.
Why put 900 Euro per sqm in a bad location when you still get good stuff in the center?
For example Berlin's vacancy rate is below 2% in the City Center !
In East Germany its he other way round = low prices.
