I have posted previously but tonight had an experience that made me realise I had not bee prepared.
I had a water leak, from behind the Bidet, in the second bathroom, in a phase 1 Town House in Al Hamrah Village.
The mtce man eventually arrived, and complained about CHINESE FITTINGS too CHEAP and always breaking.
If not already detailed locate the major stop cocks, for the water services, there should be one outside the property, plus at least one or more inside.
Make a drawing, so you can leave instructions for family or tenants.
Also the electric CB panels, whilst looking very good, are often wrongly labels. IDENTIFY the Air con, and water pumps, so you can isolate these in emergency.
Exercise all visible water stop cocks, behind sinks, toilets etc, etc. When you need then they might be stuck, and being "chinese" when you exert any force, they will just fracture.
