OK I am being paranoid but a real estate company that went bust in Dubai several months ago have a photocopy of my passport and title deed.
Could they print these and forge them and then sell the apartment?
I have no reason to doubt the real estate company but maybe confidential docs go missing.
My understanding is that to sell property in Dubai you need a negotiation between solicitors that need to see original title deeds and original passports and other ID - right?
So someone who "pretended" to be me would need my real or fake passport and a forged title deed and pull the whole thing off.
Just wonderered - I am probably just being paranoid.
