The majority of people who are buying property in Bulgaria are looking for holiday/second homes often with a view to retirement in later years. The town of Pomorie (about 14 500 inhabitants) is situated on a narrow rocky peninsula, jutting out 3,5 km in the Black Sea. In the resort of Pomorie, the shore is low, sandy, with a fully open horizon. New developments may be purchased 'off plan' direct from the developer.
