Does Portugal subscribe to a banking code of practice? I have asked my bank this question a number of times (as I am Unhappy with their charges and service) but they just ignore my requests. I have heard that European banks do have a code of practice,does anyone know whether such a thing exists in Portugal? And if so how would I go about getting details of this or is there a "ombudsman" one can complain to?
