Atlantis on British TV

Two day special on opening of Atlantis and Dubai etc on GMTV Thus and Fri for all of u in the UK.Just saw the trailer.

atlantis is way over-rated...I just spend the weekend there.

The park is small, i prefer Wild Wadi, the aquarium aka lost city is a joke

I would avoid the whole area on Thursday afternoon, all palm residents have been told to return to their homes before 4pm and stay there. It'll be carnage.

Only in Dubai do they continue to kiss the butts of z list bollywood 'celebrities' (Kylie excluded of course!).

Has anyone out there enjoyed a visit to Atlantis. Not overly impressed by the marketing. My favorite hotel has to be the Royal Mirage. Are standards dropping in Dubai for the new mass tourist market. Lets hope not.

I thought it was too far removed from everything. Maybe its just too new and needs some time to develop itself into a warm, inviting getaway.
