Hi there
I own a studio in Bansko at Sunrise and my lawyer emailed me today saying i have to pay taxes for immovable property and garbage collection tax and penalties and bank charges which equates to 56 euros. This was never mentioned on my contract
Has anyone else been asked for this payment, apparently according to my lawyer its an immovable annual tax that has nothing to do with the contract but is a general obligation for anyone having property in Bulgaria and is coming into force by the Law of local taxes?
He has said he can arrange the payment for an additional charge of 50 euros but surely its better if i contact sunrise directly and perhaps ask them to deduct the money from my annual guaranteed rental.
Any advice appreciated
